Ramara Concrete Decks

The concrete deck design boasts 14-inch wide-flange main beams and 6-inch wide-flange cross members. Galvanized deck pan and rebar placed on top of the cross members allows for 8-inches of concrete to be poured above the neutral axis of the weighbridge. The concrete above the neutral axis is always in a compression state eliminating bending which can cause cracks in the deck. The heavy-duty wide-flange beams below handle all forces, extending the life of the scale. Concrete decks are more resistant to corrosion in wet conditions and provide improved traction.
